Regarding cable I can’t give you any advise because it depends very much on where you live. In Germany I made the experience to stay with the largest company (Telekom) was best because of their uptime and service.
Your hard drive you don’t have to change really. You can get an external hard drive for additional storage. I got a very good and cheap one at eBay (LaCie Brick). Look for speed and storage space.

Regarding software keyword research is somewhat a difficult subject for me. As I’m in several different niches I need a good tool to give me more relevant keywords specially also LSI which I find hard to find.
