Keyword Secrets Review
Inspired by one of my readers here some informations about a new Keyword Research Tool: Keyword Secrets
His question was following (but I’ll also cover other aspects):
“As I’m in several different niches I need a good tool to give me more relevant keywords specially also LSI which I find hard to find. I was thinking about Keyword Elite, but I’m not sure and it is quite costly. Does it give me the best performance for this purpose or would you suggest a better software for this purpose?”
What is the purpose of your keyword research? Depending on the answer to this question you use different research tools for different purposes, but…
Whatever your marketing model may be, whether it is pay-per-click, seo, article marketing or web 2.0 strategies the main point is to know which keywords are important and relevant for your market (the crowd you want to offer your stuff to), right?
Who knows best which keywords are important in your market?
If you ask it this way, its clear? Its Google!
How is Google seeing your market?
Which keywords are relevant, important, dominating?
Thats what Keyword Secrets is all about.
What are your prospective customers typing into the search engines and what are they really looking for – it may be something you didn’t even think about, i.e. you explore weight lifting and you get completely different keywords such as suppliments, gain muscle, herbs, spices and so on…
Try it and you’ll be amazed what kind of results you get from Keyword Secrets and its nicely ordered in keyword groups and indicating the search volume and advertiser competition.
This tool was developed by Howie Schwartz and if you know something about him it’s definitely that he’s a genius, a scientist when it comes to understanding Google. This keyword tool is a perfect reflection of how he works. He usually dominates every niche market he enters because of his research strategy.
For following purposes I found Keyword Secrets personally most effective:
* After using my own brain to collect a wide range of topics and themes in the market I expand those with Keyword Secrets
* This is the first tool I use because it goes broad (for going deep there are actually more suitable tools like Keyword Elite or WordtrackerPro)
* Know your market and know the keywords your market is using
* Get ideas for products or complimentary products (expand your product line)
* Get a maximum amount of LSI (latent semantic indexing) optimized keywords – thats what Google is looking for on your site and those are also the keywords your competition on Adwords is hardly using – you’re steps ahead of your competition.
For building large keyword lists I would get the root keywords from Keyword Secrets and then expand them with Keyword Elite.
To spy on your competition; if its in Adwords, Keyword Elite is the better solution; if its in organic results, Keyword Secrets would be my choice.
BTW I’m not going to review Keyword Elite (at least not soon) because Brad Callen already has so much information on his site. Just go there and see for yourself Keyword Elite
So to recap, if you’re in the early stage of your market research or expand the knowledge about your market or LSI keywords, you should use Keyword Secrets. Watch the video and check it out as long as Howie is offering a $1 trial – its not costly anyway.
If you like to learn more or rather about other aspects of keyword research and get an extensive list of different tools as well as some other subjects like CPA, PPC and affiliate marketing, I highly recommend you Gauher Chaudry’s CPA Marketing which you can claim for free right now.

Hi Juergen,
Thanks a lot for this review. I didn’t find a $1 trial, but I’m convinced and got it. It makes sense to me knowing what keywords Google want to see and also to explore new phrases. I’m going to test it tomorrow.

Hi Juergen,
It took me some time to understand the workings of Keyword Secret, but now I got it. For 4 of my niches I already received complete new families of keywords and phrases. This was absolutely worth the trouble I had initially. It just works different than all the other tools I used before.
Your review was really helpful and a good recommendation. Thank you.

Hi Walter,
You’re welcome. I’m glad that its working well for you. I found a lot of keywords in my niches which had a lot of searches, but very low competition.
